Realone n-gage playback probs------lagging

hey i jus converted som movies for my ngage using helix. the files bout 10000kb and wenever i play it bac it lags alot...cant realluy watch it. the setting are 80bit rate and 20fps...any help?

bit rate and fps is way too high. These settings r also making the file larger in size. Use 70KB/s or less at 15fps - it should then play back quite smoothly. You will even find that the size is smaller so u can fit more games/music/porn or whatever onto your phone.

realone will always lag a little bit.. maybe more with high fps tho, but use mobiclip for movies... its 10 times better + fullscreen

Mobiclips videos are often a lot larger though than rm and 3gp

They all have their advantages and disadvantages!

Well, personally i got a 2min video playing at 128KB/s at 20fps and it played just as well as on my PC. I used the exact same settings on another 2minute mpeg to convert to rm but it played a little jerky. So i think one factor of quality and smoothness depends on the source file and how well the source file plays.

they are the same, not sure bout 6600, but i tink they are the same too.

onli difference is the ram. so if u r saying 3660 can do things ngage cant, cept for the cam part, then well, i haf nth else to sae.
