I did it, no need for the stupid nokia modem options, all what to do is :

1) Open settings -> connection -> GPRS -> Access point -> (put ur operators web access point name NOT the WAP one )

2) Go to Connect. -> Modem -> Connect via infrared and connect

3) after a while ur PC (the one i have XP SP1) will say hardware installed and ready to use.

4) Open internet options make a new dial up connection using "standard modem over IR link" and the dial up # that u get from your mobile operator ( in mobinil egypt it is *99# ) keep username ,pass empty ( or according to ur operator )

5) Open Internet explorer and Dial

6) Voila

The Problem i have is that it always disconnects, so if anybody can help me. I am not sure wether the problem is with GPRS or IR .

I'd kill for free GPRS, or at least monthly unlimited access.
