a question on 6600

these days i found that 6600 cannot play wav file while it was used for ringtone
does anybody found that

Mine works 100% I can listen to my wav files even if it is my ringtone

mine is such a shit.it only can be prelisten on the select ringtone mode

only play nokia tune.mid :sad:

Hi, I have this same problem on my new 6600. I've transferred some midi files to my MMC card, then copied it into the tones folder on the phone memory, I can play them, and i can see them listed when i goto personalise my profile, but when i ring my phone it still only plays the default Nokia tune.mid file. However, i've also found that if i select one of the other standard mid files that comes with the phone, they work!.

Can anyone shed some light on this please?, its really annoying!!! :(

Why don't you try sending them to your phone via Bluetooth or infrared, and then saving them from your messaging inbox. I can't really see the difference between that and wat you're currenty doing (putting on the MMC card directly), but who knows, there might be some difference.

well, the files haf to b in the sounds/digital folder to work.

try moving to fone mem and see?
