wanted to put movie on my n gage and now another problem PLEASE HELP!!!!

HI PEOPLE,

i was going to put a movie on my phone from the people who help me work out how to coonvert mpeg now ive got another problem now, i was using my phone on my pc via cable connection and then i went and formated my mmc card by right clicking on the drive icon and formating it as a NTFS then i went into my n gage and went to the memory app, it said error format now from phone so i selected yes and done that, then everything looked fine from the phone i mean the mmc card was working fine i could see details and everything like that, anyway the real big problem is that when i connect my n gage to my pc my pc doesnt detect it no more i tried my n gage on another pc and still the same thing.

can anyone help me im really really stuck.

any help at all will help me figure out how to fix this problem.

go on to nokia and seach for nokia multimedia converter 2.0 and download it and then just open the file u want to convert on that and press convert it is simple once u have done it once

hi sorry if i didnt explain properly but that aint the problem, the problem is that my pc doesnt detect the other drive coming from my n gage via cable

go into my computer, right click properties, go to hardware tab, then click on device manager, right click on the very top icon and select scan computer for hardware/software connections. See if that does anything :D

you have to format that mmc card by another device
like mmc card reader / camera

I tried partition magic on my mmc then i can't access it anymore with computer
My friend's ebookman saved me
but from that time i can't format the mmc with n-gage
always format it with computer, otherwise the mmc will become n-gage only again

note that you have to use FAT12 (aka not 32) to format the mmc for ngage

Fat12...? never heard of it.. I thought it was FAT16....

FAT12 is kind of older than FAT16
I think it have different cluster size

It's only used in small volumn like mmc
just choose FAT while you format than the computer will use FAT12
prehaps something to do with size limitation of FAT12/16?

Hi ,

I want to tell you about an n-gage mobile I bought from ebay , i paid for it since ages and waited long for it to arrive and when it arrived it was like that@

1) When i inserted my vodafone sim in the handset, it said (SIM REJECTED) . is it unlocked as the seller mentioned in his lising ( works on any network) or what ? it is in orange box by the way and it seems to be on orange,

2) the package was torn apart as he only put it in a brown enveloppe! with no packing at all.

I tried using unlocking codes and tried +1 +2 + 7 , it said 'restriction off', i was happy . But when i inserted my sim card , now it says (( Lock code )) ?? what is the lock code, isnt it 12345 as it says in the manual ? i tried that but said 'wrong code'

came back to the honest seller who said he has no idea and does not know any codes and he cant help.

what can i do know ? i sold my mobile and have no other one and need to use it instantly pleaseee?

if he did have it on orange you will need to ask him what his security code was when he used it. then you will need to borrow an orange sim insert this go into security settings and switch off the code it should then ask you for the security code put his code in and viola that should solve your problem .... I had a similar situation with another orange nokia ...
