i have just got an o2 sim card. i have heard that there is an 02 scam to get 300 free text and wap. if anyone knows this scam could you please let me know.

Hi,

What your talking about I think is a BT Genie Sim.
Topup each month £10 or more and get 300 free text messages and 300 minutes of wap allowance a month.
Myself and the girlfriend use one, more the free text allowance.

theres no scam been using mine for 8months now!!! 300 text + £10 credit a month for £10 is amazin!!!

Well said mate.

I've been using mine for a few years now, originally they gave 600 free text messages a month for £10, but now it's just 300.

But and I think this part is new, you can decide if you want all text messages or some picture messages as well.
Eg. 200 text & 10 MMS pics for £10 per month or
All MMS allowance.
There are a couple of other steps you can set that are inbetween, depending on your preference.

its pay as u talk

network: 02-UK

u dont have 2 top up each month, but if you do u get 300 txts (or divided between mms n txt) within 24hrs.. u can use these txts untill a month has passed. if you top-up within that month (min-£10) then ull receive the allowence 4 the nxt month.

Cor it seems cheaper and cheaper everyday on pay as you go, I might have to give up on contract. These days I only have a contract to keep up to date with all the nokia releases.

The genie sim rocks! I got one on contract a few years back before they started limiting the texts... for £10 a month i get free text messages, free wap and fifty minutes a day of calls off-peak to other 02 and landline phones...

I'm never gonna switch my sim card!!!
