N-gages MP3Player

Hi guys,

A stupid question maybe.. but..

I heard that the N-Gage Mp3player(the one which comes with it) has the best quality than every other mp3player,,

So can't somebody copy the mp3player files from the n-gage and paste them on the PC with a card reader/writer?

i want it for my 6600..

And is it compatible??

I know that N-gage is stereo but even without stereo it is the best they say...

Hi nokialan,
When I read ur message I picked up my N-Gage and I started browsing around in the folders and I found the one that holds the Mp3 player at this location:
Z:\System\Apps\MusicPlayerApp
I can't tell if it works on the 6600 but I hope you can soon ;)
I've uploaded the files from the MusicPlayerApp folder into a zip file. You can find it here:
http://users.skynet.be/FunkyG/MusicPlayerApp.zip
Just extract these files to your pc and copy them onto your phone to:
C:\System\Apps\MusicPlayerApp (preffered)
or
E:\System\Apps\MusicPlayerApp

Then you can just start the app and pray. If it shows any errors or if it's asking for library files, just post it here or mail me @ [email protected] so I can continue my search.
If it works.. Enjoy! :D

it is not possible to make it work, it has different hardware. ngage has a chip only for audio decoding-encoding.

i got an icon in my menu,
I pressed it and.....................

.
.
.
.
It didn't work... :sad:

Why?

The files are 32 kb ? Ultramp3 is 800kb,

So somethings wrong

copying sth from z: will nv work, they are can onli b installed by ur fone again when u format it. i tried it too, wif snake ex, pity it wun work.

i said it.... the mp3 player of ngage is VERY crappy, the higer quality is because of the DAC integrated in ngage. that sw simply redirect mp3 files to decoder.

well, for 6600, best u can haf is ultramp3. even if u can somehow get the ngage player, its no use, sound will still be mono.

well, the default one is the best, coz it allows stereo on ngage. but, even if u can get it on 6600 or 3650 somehow, theres no use, u cant hear any stereo sounds from it. plus, the ngage mp3player doesnt haf functions like forward and rewind.
