Bluetooth woes

Ive recently formated my hard drive, and im now having difficulties getting my bluetooth connection working. In the instalation of the bluetooth software it is saying it cant fing any bluetooth device, and when i click ignore on that and try to connect to the phone with it, it finds the phone but says error creating bluetooth serial port connection.

Im using an MSI dongle. Anyone got any clues?

Have you paired the PC with your phone? And set up a passcode?

Try pairing the other way around, i.e. send a pair request from your phone to your PC, instead of vica versa..
