UK Orange 6600 info

Rang up phones4u today for the zillionth time this week to find out when they'd have a replacement handset for my one (pixel dead) and when i said that they hadn't had any in for ages the woman said that the first batch had loads of faults and they were sorting it out. At least they're on it.

No one including Orange have any 6600's in now. They must concluded that there was a problem and are either trying to source different ones or waiting for a less faulty batch to come through!

I have had my phone since october on O2, and have never had any major problems. Apart from the odd crash wich my 7650 used to do as well its been brilliant.

I wonder what these "problems" are then??

Both the one's I've had on Orange have had the dead pixel problem. Maybe they're getting quite a few of them back.
