6600 OPERA HELP ( Trial ends in 14 days )

I thought the Opera that came with the 6600 was free, but today it told me that i have only 14 days left for the trial to end. What happened and how can i fix this ?

of course the license will expire!!! do some search in this forum and they will tell u to delete a file but i've tried high and low searching for that file on my 6600 but it wasnt there. :-o

It worked on Nokia 3650. Opera may have noticed it from all forums and changed code to avoid it. Good luck. Here is the trick to fool opera for 3650.

This will cause Opera to restart the 96 day time-limit:

1) Deleting C:/system/Data/ousr600.dat;
2) Create a new directory in C:/system/Data called ousr600.dat.

The file is on phone memory regardless where the appication is installed.

That file doesn't exist anymore. Maybe on an older version. There's a full download somewhere on the net that you just copy the files to your phone/memory card and it works..

Hi!

If u have preinstalled Opera on ur 6600 its free for u.
However its locked to ur IMEI code.

When u start Opera it will look for the viger.dat file on ur c:\system\data or
e:\system\data.

If viger.dat gets corrupted u will get that trial info. So u better back up the viger.dat file somewhere if u r N6600 user.
