Ok so ive just installed a kingmax 256mb mmc in my 6600 and i am having some problems.

Ive tested it by using SeleQ to copy a file to it from the phones memory and that seems to work ok. But when i try to use the nokia suite it says it is unable to do it because of an unexpected error. Nokia suite works fine when copying to the phones memory.

Also i tried changing the messages to be saved to memory card and the tight click->send to blutooth, but after about 1mb is transfered it says error!!

Anyone know whats going wrong?

Your phone cannot handle 128mb+ cards. 128mb is the max for all series60/70 phones with an mmc card slot.
SD (Secure Digital) is -unfortunately- NOT compatible with series60/70 phones

Yes it can. That topic shows that.

A 6600 can well handle a 256MB card but maybe you copy the file with nokia suite in the root of the MMC and that doesn't work on any size MMC try copy it in a subfolder or make a new folder.

if u get an unexpected error in pc suite, try installing file manager and send with that. i had that problem too. pc suite will fix itself after a while, but before it does, just use file manager
