I have a slight problem with my 7210 in the fact that it won't charge
Everytime I plug it in I get "Not Charging" displayed

This was caused (I think) by me and my cheap flasher

I was flashing my phone and instead of turning it on I plugged in the charger forgetting that it was dct4 and it had its own supply anyway

The flashing completed fine but now it won't charge
I can't find my official nokia charger so I am trying to use my cheap version
although my cheap charger gives a more stable output than any nokia I've used! ;)

thanks for any help,
Danny

try flashin it again might help... or it could also be you destroyed your charger or chip that handles charger in phone...
try your cheap charger on other phone.

I think the chip must be blown!!

I tried a reflash with no result,
Its ok though I'm using an old 8210 that cant get a signal to charge my batteries now

Unless someone has a nice cheap service to replace the chip I guess its gonna stay like that for a while

Cheers for the help Steven
regards,
Danny

well replacing the chip is not an easy job..
You will need Hotair station a new chip ofcourse and a magnifying glass would come in handy too..

also some experience and a steady hand would be nice ;)

I'm not going to attempt changing it,
I have changed a PA before but that was a 3310 not my beloved 7210 ;)

cheers,
Danny
