GoBoy wont work

I have installed goboy version 1.41 on my 6600 and i want to play games but the games wont start.

i put the games in the map goboy on my 32mb mmc.

i tried mario, mario2, worms, rainbow6


what seems to be the problem?

when u say u put the games in the map do u mean u placed the games under the goboy folder?!
just send the games thru bluetooth to your inbox and as u open it they should show up on goboy..

Have you tried unzipping them e.g mario.zip to mario.gb Goboy only uses the *.gb files

Just to clarify, the pay version of Go Boy can use zip files. Of course the file within the zip file must have the extension .gb

Just to Clarify, you have to pay for zipman aswell b4 Go Boy can use zip files!
Buying Go Boy on its own will not extract zip files. You need to install Zipman

try installing goboy 1.4 (not the plus version), den reinstall the 1.4.1, it shld work. worked for my frend's 6600.

Just to Clarify, you have to pay for zipman aswell b4 Go Boy can use zip files!

Ok I just relised if you send the zip file to your inbox goboy won't recognise it because your message box won't open it but if you put the zip file in the goboy folder it will open it

press c, den highlight sounds, click on joystick, see if theres any sound.

Hey ducklegsux & everyone else with goboy probs why don't you forget about goboy and use gamephone advance instead its so much better and easier to install, the sound is louder & clearer on Gamephone Advance

well, try doing a search on google on gameboy roms, loads of sites wif downloads. or try a search in yahoo grps, some haf gb roms.

Yeah, I used to do that back in the day when I harvested ROMs, but now Google has gone downhill in the 'warez' business. Too much bullshit is advertised, you find a site that say they have 'Over 1 Gig Of Gameboy ROMS!' (If they're really cool they will use a z instead of a s), and then when you sign up at their site, they have no ROMs, only a link to their sister site.

So don't trust all the sites that you find. Many are a waste of time.
