yo heres smartvideo trial ver its a small download and has converter and player. kickasss and easy to use. compared to pvplayer (complicated tweaking) and mobiclip a bitch to download on 56k the converter itsel is like 20 meg then u got to download .net framework another 40 or so. Smart video is only 1.5mb.

the filesize is better as well i converted swat disk 12 and it was only 35mb

What exactly are codecs? I did a search on the forum and didn't really get any proper info. I wanted to convert an *.mp4 movie using smart movie but it told me that the codec is not supported so how do I make mp4's compatible with smart movie?

Also I'm converting a *wmv as we speak (so kewl it supports this) will let you know how it looks once I've installed smart movie on my 6600.

Smart Movie: PISS EASY to operate, and it does what I wanted mobiclip to do, but BETTER. The *wmv file I downloaded ROCKED! Quite literally, was a video of my band playing live. 28 minutes of footage took up 32mb... not bad at all. I'm gonna buy this app and I think its so good everyone should buy it. Lonely cats is a wicked developer and have made kick arse apps such as this and ultraMP3. I think we o it to them not to hunt down cracked version and buy the real thing. Ppl who support the cracked version are going to ruin the company from making better apps in the future!

thanks for the info Iceman5 ive just joined #mediaplace and found out its not available yet i will always be on #mediaplace people so if no one has it yet when smartmovie is cracked i will give a shout out on here to say i have the crack. ;)

I bought it last night and i must say its brilliant. Im sure the converter works much faster when its unlocked too! In demo mode it was taking 30 mins to do an episode of 'Friends', after it took 12 mins :)

and make these file read-only,systen,hidden:

And

now you have 59:?? min to you use it every time
you open the smartmovie

yes as it has been said and something better i read on this forum is deleting these files : 101FEAF8.bin and 101FEAF8x.bin, then creating folders named exactly 101FEAF8.bin and 101FEAF8x.bin
So each time you restart it will auto reset :)

By the way any group is gonna really crack the sis file and crack the pc converter which is actually best than anything else like vosub etc

i think i have this error on my N6600.when playing files 'smartmove player' will close and will give an error message - error sound streaming.i dont know if N6600 is fully support by this app.

Just find someone with the fullversion who brought it, they can unlock converters. Along with the timefix, you dont even need a crack yet.

I just tried to buy it from the my-symbian website and it says 'smartmovie is currently unavailable and cannot be purchased'. DOH! Does anyone know where else I can buy it? Also plz don't tell me it comes in the post lol! I'm hoping to buy and download so I can use straight away.

this is gonna sound dumb but is there a programme that can convert normall video files to .rm (real media) files? coz with my n-gage cd it said intsall video and audio converters and i dont know what the hell happened with that, can anyone help?

Yes I know that, but I get MP3 error with crack. Without crack the program works fine. If I get sounds of maybe it would work? Sorry my English! :-P

the crack like some of u guys said works fine, but on the other hand im having the same problems like the other peeps that mp3 error thing once i crack it, for some reason it works on some and errors for others. i have no idea why this is the case. but i have done a work around 4 u guys havin probs,

1. install app
2. crack it, to get converter code
3. uninstall app
4.use the unlimited trial time trick on app instead

I've the same error. Then I remember that I have apply a patch for time limit in 2 files form e:\system\apps, after changing the attributes back to normal then delete both files using seleq. I am sure you get error free.

I just wish that they have include playlist because now i have a lot of music video clips in xvid in my mmc where I have to manually play all the music videos one by one.

just want to ask, how do you convert movies which came from VCD / DVD, they are not MPEG / MPG / MPEG4.... when browsing the CD, i dont see any movie clips, how do you conthvert clips directly from VCD / DVD to a MPG or a compatible format recognized by the samrtmovie converter?
