ok i dont wanna be rude or anything but did u even try????? send the .jar file to ur phone and click it. done! or u can use the installation wizard in pc suite for .jar .jad and .sis files
If you downloaded a .zip with multiple files inside rename the .zip to .jar then send it to your device.

And if you downloaded a folder with multiply files Zip it then send it to your phone then rename it from *.zip to *jar in the phone.

Yep. I personally find renaming the file before you copy it to the device is easier. Its a lot easier to type.

NO NO NO it just dont work that way
When I zipped the folder n renamed it to .jar n copied it to fone it did not install, it said corrupted installation file.
and OBVIOUSLY it wont work.......cuz if u can browse the folder then it's definitely a FOLDER....with REAL contents inside....and if u ZIP them, they become UNUSABLE......until UNZIPPED........ JAR is a JAVA ARCHIVE it's NOT A ZIPPED ARCHIVE format.
These files need to be converted to . JAR
I know the Java language has acommand line program to convert multiple class files into JAR files, but anyone got smthin better that's GUI as well ??
easy to use and install?
that just takes the default folder and churns it into a JAR file without me havin to be half a Java Whiz Kid?

1st, change the folder settings (as stated by previous post, im using win 98, not sure bout xp)
2nd, when u unzip the file, u got lotsa folders? zip it up again, den rename the file, for example
xxx.zip
change to:
xxx.jar

then tried winzip , windows XP default zipp util as well as winrar on each of these folders

the fone recognisez them as either corrupt or smthin like... non recognized format file...
