Sis Install Problem. Plz Help.

Hi

Sometimes (more that i can stand), when i'm installing a sis app, i get the following error:

"your Nokia device has been shut down. please turn it back on and try again" or something like that. :-x

I install apps via IR and its very boring when i'm installing a large app cause it take ages to do all over again, and very probably, the same error occurs again :evil: .

it sounds like ur using the install wizard in pc suite...is that right?? well, there's no reason to. when ur pc detects the phone a IR icon will appear on the desktop. drag and drop the sis file in there. it will then send the sis file to ur phone and it will appear in ur inbox. click it and it will install the game from the phone. u dont even need to be connected to pc suite

Thx. I did that and it was faster!

Had another problem though.

"Not enough memory to perform operation. Please delete some data first and try again" :sad:

What's the best and most common way to install sis files?

i think you need somethin like 2mb of space on the fone to install big files like netfront and geopod. has anyone succesfully installed real one advanced on a 3650? cos i always get that out of memory message

well, u need to format ur fone or sth to get it installed on 3650. tedious process, forgot where i saw it...

anyway, sometimes, u get the mem low when ur ram is running low. restart fone and try again, or press and hold menu, press c to close any running app.

or, install system tools and compress ram.
