Hi guys,

I just wanna know if there's anyway to display smiley in the SMS, but not in a text form.

I want my phone to display :smile: instead of : )

any idea ??

well, i dun tink so, unless u mms a smiley to them.

and wats more, the other fone might not support ur font, so cant read it too. i noe sony ericsson has :) in their sms. (i used t65 last time, i tink it has it, for ems or sth.)

Lol, if you're really desperate, then you can compose a picture message with a small smily, and fill the rest of the space up with words.. lol

If you change a character in a flash to something that you drew yourself will it come up on someone eles phone if you SMS it to them?

no, the corressponding ASCII character will come up.

Ive always said this is something nokia could do easily. there woul be no need to send the little .gif between the fones, it could work like ICQ or something and recognise : ) and replace it in viewing with :) which you could then select to have enable or disabled, in case the smilies are really s!t like this one :oops:
