7110 Security code???

Hi.

I´ve got a nokia 7110 but its asking for security code when I start it up.
I´ve tried flashing it but still it asks for security code. Read something about this phone on the net that it needs a security code calculator. Where can I get this or is there someone who has it already and that might want to help me. Imei number is 448978878655882.

Hi,

U can readout the current security code with a data cable.
(with com port plug, not the flasher cable)

Mostly the default is set to 12345, maybe U can try that.

This has nothing to do with unlock codes generating.

Security code is being used as a sort of phone lock while the simlock prevents the phone from operating at other providers networks as the one definied with Ur simcard.

I've read the phone with diffrent software. Everything is being displayed but not the security code. It says Failed, in the box where the code should be dispalyed. What can be the problem??

Its normal if the lock-out is engaged

Because hthe 7110 uses the same coding as the 6210/6250 all you have to do is flash the phone with an eeprom cleaner file or use WinDLS to reset the code to 12345 and remove the lock-out.
