View Full Version : Flashing, only way?
Hi.
I deleted all the apps-files in fileXplorer, and now the phone wont even turn on.
Safemode didnt work either.
So do i have to flash it now?
And wtf is flashing?? :-?
And where can i do it?

To uninstall apps, use the manager. I guess you learned your lesson now ;).
About the safemode.. Does that actually exist? It doesn't work on my N-Gage, only get's me trouble when I boot trying to hold some buttons
What phone are you talking about anyway? If it's a series60 (most probably  ) I don't think it's possible to Flash it yourself. They do that @ Nokia Care centers.
The most likely solution: go back to the store where you bought it (as I've allready done 2 freaggin times) and ask what they can do.
I hope you get it fixed soon without to many cost.
Good luck!

There is an interface in your battery compartment where they can connect the cables to flash your phone. I don't think its accessible for modification outside of that interface though...
Hopefully ure phone will be raised from the dead soon! check out the flashboxes and cable adapters advertised throughout the site if you want to flash your own phone.. But it is not for the fainthearted..

Why wouldnt a factory reset fix this? I'm a bit of a n00b, but surely the OS resides on the rom right?
i havent turned it in yet,
have to do it tomorrow.
do u think it will cost anything?
anyone else experienced a broken "ON" button on their 7650?

It probably would fix it, but the phone doesn't turn on.
@lyan - I don't think it will cost anything if you take it to the Nokia Care and it is still under some form of warranty.
