Why doesn't my 6600 vibrate when receiving a SMS in silent mode (silent profile) ?? PLEASE HELP

I have exactly the same problem, I think it's firmware related not sure though. Anyone know why the 6600 does this?

Mines fine, although it did have to be changed. It starts as being off as default.

its a bug.

my n-gage has the same problem
but other modes work fine when you make them silent and enable vibration
so i exchanged the `slots` for silent and another mode
i mean i made the `other` mode silent
it vibrates fine now but its a little short vibration

recording a silent wav can make it work too of course

Another way to vibrate it is go into ringtone composer and jst keep pressing "0", that create an empty ringtone, it'll be smaller aswell..
