hi i've got a problem with my 6600. a few days ago it started not writing text it wrote numbers instead. usually you can press a key to change this. this doesnt work. when i go to settings and then to phone then general it says ''gs error'' and quits. When switching the phone on it displays ''system error''. i have read other threads where this has happened and formattin the memory card has not semmed to work. if i use the phone without the mmc is still does not work! i have also tried deleting any recently installed apps.

Please would someone be kind enough to help!

Sounds to me you got some WILDSKINZ bugz ;)

If you have/had wildskinz installed on your system, then (install it again and)open it, turn the WildSkinz option to OFF, exit the program (reboot if required) and get the damn program off your phone and ban it forevah :D

If you don't/didn't have any wildskinz.. This is as far as I can help you.

cheers

if that doesn't work format the phone aswell as the mmc and that will clear the problem.

if you did not install wildskinz, i think the only solution is to get a fresh start. meaning to format the mmc first then format the phone after. this will clear out any error that may occur because this will reset your phone to the original nokia default 6600. hope this helps.

I had the same prob on my 7650 a long time ago, formatting it fixed everything, (i didn't have Wildskinz installed that time)...
So format your phone, i think thats the best solution..
