sms via gprs

hello guys! does any1 knows an app that can send smsm via gprs for free?? just like send sms coz it doesnt work. tnx!

either way it wont be free (unless ur gprs is free tho) it will always cost something for the gprs usage

duh, mms messages go via gprs. sms is a totally different protocol.

thats not what he meant. there is a program that sends sms messages via gprs so that sending it will be much cheaper... not free however, but about 1/10 of what it would cost sending it the normal way

unlimited just goto mobile.yahoo.com they have a send a text feature i use it cause my service is stupid about sms. but it works fine for me check it out there are other sites that do it to. I also have sent texts from my carriers send a text web page.

So send an MMS instead of an SMS why don't you? :lol:

That wont work, as most operators have an MMS server which takes 35p (or whatever) off for each connection to it. The standard GPRS server for viewing pages is charged differently.
