Voicemail notification on 3650?

Hi...
Is it just me, or does anyone else not get a voicemail icon on their 3650 when they recieve voicemail?
Every other phone I've seen the network sends you a SMS to let you know you have voicemail and a little icon appears on the screen... for some reason that doesnt happen since I got my 3650 and the only way I know if I got voice mail is to dial it up every now and then.

Anyone got any suggestions?

erm, try not setting ur voice mail number in the voice mail icon on ur fone? so tt the telco might send u an sms instead of u calling to find out.

I've tried that... no luck :(
I don't understand why it doesn't work... do other people get notifications ok on a 3650?

y not try phoning ur telco and asking them wats wrong? ask them y a sms is not send when u receive a voice msg.
