3310 reflashing

Hopefully someone can help...
How is it possible to erase or reflash a "modded" flash file? I flashed a 3310 with a 3325i flash, and although it works fine, I don't like the inverted LCD, as well as the VERY irritating startup and shutdown "tones. I want to reflash with a more "normal" flash file, but now because the modded flash shows the phone as a NHM-? instead of a NHM-5 the programs won't flash a new file!

How can I erase it to start over?? I've tried several different programs but nothing works...

If U want to flash a different flash just flash it and it will erase the old flash in the process.

Nope doesn't work. I've tried probably 7 or 8 different flash files and always get the same error "can't initialize phone, not recognized" I've also tried the other files with 3 different flash programs and get the same error. Are there any programs that will flash a file without the file matching the phone model?

what flasher are you using, i know rolis can get a bit temperamental at times, use nasiriyan flasher, i have uploaded it to the forum somewhere, just do a search mate

I've always used Rolis flasher v4.77 and never had any probs.

I've tried Nok95 build 22, Rolis Flasher 4.78 and Rolis Flasher 4.79. I'll try the nasiryan if I can find it. Thanks for all the help, even though the flash worked as I said, I just can't handle the irritating startup/shutdown tones. (Like an old Nintendo 8 bit game when dropping bombs :-o )
