mp3/movie converters

ive found a good anything to mp3 converter "dBpowerAMP Music Converter" u can get it free on www.download.com set the bitrate to 96 sounds clear and small file size and it's a bit louder aswell

as for movie converters the best one ive found is smart movie (app for phone) and the smart movie converter cuts down size and the quality is quite good

any other converters you have found that are good please let me know

To make ur mp3 files smaller i suggest u use a program called DietMP3 it dramasticaly reduces the filesize of mp3 files, u will hear the difference on ur computer but not on ur phone. i suggest u use this settings:
cellular phone
tape quality
mp3
mono
that makes 3 mb -> about 650kb and belive me u can bearly hear the difference.

I tried to find a reg hack for this tool... i found loads but all was for erlier versions or didnt work. so i made one myself... it wont get u regged but it will allow u to diet as many mp3 files as u want (trial allows u to diet 15 only)
so u can just enter 99 and close the app and u wont need it again unless u use all the 99 songs hehe. and it wont get resetted back to 15 if u close dietmp3

When i try to convert my .mp3 files in Dietmp3, i only get a 128 kb .mp3 file, which arent playable.

What did i do wrong?

One of my mp3's which is only 1.9mb doesnt get compressed at all when i use diet mp3 except another on of mine which was 3.4mb came down to 512kb how does that work?

The smaller the file size is directly proportional to the bitrate of the initial MP3 file and the bitrate of the final MP3.

Say 128kbps converted to 56kbps will be a significantly smaller file. Whereas 128kbps converted to 112kbps will be an MP3 file with a similar file size.
