Download Though Browser

Has anybody successfully downloaded apps with Doris or Opera. I've downloaded though Services/Wap @ wap.my-symbian.com I'm almost sure its not possible but thought I ask. Please explain if been achieved.

Yes I have done it with Opera. Its great I actually was out and had to reformat my phone well like a dummy didnt realise that i didnt have a backup copy of fexplorer. Well I happened To have Opera installed on my mmc and knew the web page with fexplorer. well i downloaded and installed very simple. there is a download section in Opera. the only thing that i have downloaded and wasnt able to use are movies (mpg). Mp3's, and wav's are fine. also if you use wireless IRC and have a friend online you can have them dcc it to you. I have sent tonyhawk.blz (14.4 mb) via wireless IRC. the only bad point to wireless IRC is that the /ctcp command isnt recognized :( but other than that you can use gprs just like a pc connection ive been able to do alot!

Great, very much thanks all I have to do now is find a cracked version of Opera. Then I'd be able to download on my 36fifty it's too bad Doris doesn't have that option though. THANKS AGAIN!

Doris is a striped down browser for very basic internet browsing (website), it doesn't have many of the extra features which opera contains..
