Serious Series 60 Theme Studio problem! Help please!

Ok I know people running XP have had problems installing this program, and that right clicking for Windows 2000 compatibility is supposed to fix the problem.

Thing is for me this does nothing. I don't even reach the install screen. I double click the icon to install it loads to 100% then an error message appears. Something to do with Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library assertion failed...

I really wanna make some themes for the world to see, but i dont see any way around this.

Any help would be appreciated, maybe there are files I should download for compatibility, either way thanx in advance!

I dunno about the installation problem but since I have Theme Studio installed in XP, I can say that it loads awfully slow and I havent made a single 6600 theme with it... Theme Editor is faster and easier to use... whenever I finish working with Theme Editor, I open Theme Studio just to view screenshots of my newly edited skin... for me that is all its good for unless someone else has a better experience with it ;)

strange compatibility worked for me...
try to search for this library with google...

have you just tried to unistall and reinstall... don't forget you're working with windows... :D

lol yes I know all about how Windows is, but see this is the problem.

I can't uninstall-reinstall because I don't get that far. The original .exe file you download from nokia, u double click for the first time and it loads up to the installation screen. I get to 100% of that loading and then error and I dont get to the install screen... lol I dont even know what it looks like :(
