ok this is really starting to piss me off now...

in the manager where u can view and delete installed apps, the apps are suddenly disappearing! right now there's 4 and they are still getting fewer. there are a few themes and some programs that i want to delete but i cant coz theyr not there! so is there another app that can delete files like that? or is there a way to get the manager to refresh the list??

thx

did u delete the .sis files from c:/system/installs folder (i tink tts where they are.)

deleting those files, will delete the entry in manager. try reinstallin tt file again, and den delete from manager.

or, go to :\system\apps and delete the folder of the program that you want to remove

Yep, Schizo's method is easier I personally think.

yeah ive been doing what schizo sed latly but ive heard that its not the best way of deleting and u should always delete from the manager. and tzeonn when i think about it i think i have been delete files from there... but there was this theme i wanted to uninstall and it wasnt there so i reinstalled and right after went to the manager and it wasnt there! so i think theres something else thats wrong with the phone. when i first got it there was always this popup saying "checking list" or something everytime i opened the manager, and now its gone.

well ill survive with schizo's method for now...

do not use my method as a primary method for removing applications or whatsoever. it is only used if you had a problem with your program and cannot uninstall...

reason? because if you delete the folder inside the app folder, you do not know which files are bundled with the program. like take ir remote for example, ir remote has a lot of files being thrown to other folders...
like in the libs folder, programs and a whole lot more...

so my method is not that accurate and not to be used as a primary way of removing apps.

I use this method for getting rid of unwanted cracked N-Gage games. It's the only way as far as I knew, but yeah, it does store unwanted files on, say C:.
