Hello everyone, I'm using an N-Gage and I was wondering if there is a program to clean out evey little corner of the Series60 OS used by the N-Gage? Something like System Mechanic (http://www.iolo.com/sm/) for PC.
My gamedeck has endured many installs and uninstalls from programs and games, this leaves trails in my phone memory and I'm very unsure of what I can and can not delete without loosing any important data.
If a program like that does not exist, I suggest programmers to make one ^_^ (I would be happy to host such programs on my website)
cheers!

u can try psiloc exyended file manager , it has the clean up function.

But the extended file manager only cleans or deletes files from the "tmp" dir...
I think this kind of app will not exist...
coz the apps users are trying to install are at ramdom in which you cant really determine which file is garbage and which is not...
I bet formatting the phone is the effective solution...

Yeah, but formatting the phone can be a pain in the arse.

Yes, my point exactly! I would like to clean my system without any loss of messages, contacts, saved games for game cards.. It would be handy if there was a way to upload all this to pc trough usb. Is syncronising with USB (No bluetooth) possible?

well, u can try moving ur saved game files to mmc, den use usb to move to ur pc. den copy ur contacts somewhere, sim or watever, den do a format of the fone. app tt u installed, wun b showed on ur fone manager to delete thou, juz reinstall too see it.
all my mmc has are ngage games, and no app are installed on c:, whenever i install sth new, i backup my c: wif mmc. so if i install something i dun noe tt works, install in c: 1st, if it cocks up my fone, i format c: and restore from mmc.

It doesn't matter where you install something. All the crap goes to your C: drive and stays there. Even if you install something on E: (the mmc) the settings and saved files are beeing stored on C: could there be a way to make it ALL go to the mmc?.. messages included..

for messages to b stored in inbox, go to messages, options, settings, other, set mem in use to mmc.
but for software installation, saved files in c:, u cant do anything bout them.
