3510 wont switch on, help please!

Can anyone help me?!

My phone fell into a tiny bit of water (fresh not salt), and the keypad stopped working, but the phone still powered on & off ok. I tried chunkhead's guide to water damage, but now the phone wont switch on. I plugged in the charger to see if the battery would charge, but nothing is happening! I would be VERY grateful of any suggestions.

Get a toothbrush,PURE alcohol,and a hairdryer.brush the entire board with alcohol,using liberally.Make sure the alcohol runs under all the ic's and flushes them out.Literally flood the whole fone,but don't immerse in the stuff,as it takes 4 ever to dry.Heat with the hairdryer,for about 20mins,running it all over the board.Then leave to dry for 12 hours to make sure all the alcohol has evaporated from the i.c's. Check battery voltage,as charging an ingressed fone shorts the battery and puts it to ''sleep''.If battery reads 0 volts,then boot it with about 6volts from a ups,and the fone should power up.Make sure battery voltage is >3.6v and ya laughin'".If fone still wont power up,ya gotta give it to a repairer who has a clue[not the clowns fromya local fone shop who wouldn"t know an ingressed fone if it bit them on the arse!!]
