Nokia 3650 vs Ngage? Pros Cons?

I have the 3650 now, and I know i love it and all, however for apps etc, I also heard about the ngage and so.. I know for multiplayer games its good, but what about the rest?

What would be the pros cons for 3650 vs ngage. Not sure if I plan to get one, that is why I ask. =)

Too bad it doesnt have infrared =( but software wise?

well, it depends on wat u want in a fone.

3650: camera, but lacking in ram, no radio, no stereo

ngage: made to play games, but looks weird talkin on it, no cam, no irda, but stereo and radio really rocks!

software, both are the same, but its obvious u cant use cam related app on ngage.

don't get the 3650 at all, if u want a cam phone buy the 6600, If u want a game phone buy the N-Gage.


As the phones are all S60s the same programs/games can be used on both devices

The 3650 sux in every perspective compared to the newest S60s...

if you got a 3650 already then i would have to say 6600 is a no go stick with your 3650 if you want a cam, but the n-gage although its dissed for looks is a very nice peice of kit, the symbian is the most stable ive used having used 7650 3650 n-gage 6600, n-gage has great games, yes you can play them on other phones but they are designed for n-gage and are mpore playable on n-gage, the n-gage is a great media device too the mp3 playback is tops and it has Fm radio and the bonus of the only s60 with stereo output!!! this benefits the ringtones too the n-gage has the best sound on ringing i have ever heard on a nokia, if the looking like a twat on phone(you do get handsfree headset with it though!!!) and no cam arent to off putting then N-gage is way over the 3650 and probably all "nokia" s60 phones plus the n-gage is dirt cheap now!!

Someone said more ram on ngage? You mean internal ram? Like I know the 3650 has limited virtual mem. Ngage better?

so as far as normal software compat its the same right?

Also the 3650 is quite nice.. I wouldnt trade it in fully for something else, but I would switch between them.

Yes if I could afford the 6600 Id do that! Hell that or the 3660. But 1st its not out for tmobile, (yet) plus on ebay.. your talking 300-500$ lol for THAT price buy a pocket PC or something and do more then either of them =p

Hows the multiplayer games? Worth 10$ a month at all?

yeh the internal virtual memory on the n-gage has been increased from 3mb on 3650 to 12mb on n-gage!!! why would you want the 3660 its just a 3650 in disguise?????[keypad and screen rest is same] if you keeping your 3650 then go for the n-gage up till few days ago i was a 3650 and n-gage but just upgraded my 3650 to an XDA-II but im guessing thats beyond your reach wicked phone!!! but its still with my n-gage!!!

The N-Gage has 14 MB ram the 6600 has 12, both have a 104Mhz processor and both have their pros & cons.

Either buy a N-Gage or 6600 , don't buy a lame 3650, at these times things like that are a thing of the past...

If u can't choos buy em both, i've ordered an N-gage yesterday for 165 Euros!

Well I liked it cause it had cam and so, yes 6600 is nice! I agree, its better.
The 3660 has 64k colors, better camera and numberpad, also dont know what else they added in it, I got my 3650 for 160$
Friend of mine might sell his Ngage for 125$ with 5 games, lightly used. Why it sounds really nice to do.

The 6600 is expensive atm. Id love a pocket pc and so too lol. But we shall see. But sounds like its too good a deal to pass up for 125$, I do like the 3650 for quite a few things however, but least its better then the Hiptop. =p

3650:
->Same as N-Gage in colour 4096K display.
->Extra is the camera. With camera, 3650 not only can act as a camera(640*480) resolution, but it also can become a motion sensor by using software "imagespy" and a lot more other camera software.
->Bad:
keypad but i already get use with it.


N-Gage:
->Good in gaming and multimedia. Imaging while waiting for someone at train station, why not play ur favourite game FIFI2004, or on your FM or Mp3.
->Bad:
If you saw ur favourite Singer or star, u got no camera.

The N-Gage is worth it for the price that it is. Its pretty damn cheap.

well, ram sure is 1 big factor, and 3650 kinda sucks, 3 mb ram!

Don't forget about all the ease when u tranfer files to N-gage. To me it's way faster 'n better than Irda and BT.

N-gage = Best + Cheapest S60 Phones :-P

N-Gages has MUCH more memory (as in "RAM"), and is therefore able to actually run all the cool programs like Opera. On 3650 that is not possible if you have installed a few programs that need to run in background.
