3330, no Network

After reseting SP lock in my 3330 now I have no Network. I mean I insert SIM, turn phone on and for a few seconds the phone shows in LCD full Network sign... After a few seconds it loses the sign and I ond "surf" though menus.

Any help??? :-?

Did that, I've updated FAID. Any change I made I allways update FAID.
Is there any test that can be made to see if it's an hardware problem???

if the phone worked fine before you unlocked it, then you need to press updaid FAID a few times in rolis 1.8, alternativley you can use eeprom tools by b-phreaks to update FAID,

also, try to RESET software using noktool by Rolis

If U want to run a test U can connect up 2 Eeprom Tools and run DSP test in there. This will tell U whether u have a hardware problem or a software problem.

Try this:
With knok95 and Mbus cable /phone powered on/
in phone setings:
qick set faid, reset user interface setings, reset full factori setings, klear SP locks, setnew IMEI->use original IMEI, quick set faid
Than open nokia tool by Rolis:
set FAID, SP, SFR, read phone set FAID again
It should work

Then I test my phone with "NokiaToolsRollis 1.8" and it gave me this errors: :-o

MCU Memory Reading error at:
Adress 0x100000
Adress 0xA00000

Please some1 knows where I can find a MCU+PPM c (I think its zone c that have Portuguese), or even better a FuBu for 3330???

:) Thanks I've loaded the MCU and the PPMc and flash those in the phone but my phone errors R at 0x100000 and 0xA00000 and steal there, I mean the flash start at 0x200000 and dont write those adresses (I think).
Thus the FuBu's on that site start at 0x0 ???

That as various answers:
-I've tried a FuBu (see above the link) and after the full flash 20000-600000 the ppm changed (to pack b) but the problem continue.
-I've tried MCU+PPM (pack c) and after that it gave me the "contact service" routine. :-o
-Flash it again with the FuBu above and next with "virgin eeprom" calculate check sums and the screen went blank (all green). :rolleyes:
My only clues are the diagnostic from NokiaTools Rollis 1.8 that tell me that is an error in adresses:
0x100000 and 0xA0000 and those come before the 20000 start adress of full flash and the Rollis flasher the tell me that it can erase the flash before writing in it. The only program that seems to be capable to make me return to the initial error is Knok 2K3 with the FuBu or the MCU+PPM.
But even this one seems to end the erase Eeprom at 96% thought it does not display any error and continues to the flash fase. :-?
And it's not locked in any of the 4 locks.
The phone doesn't refuse the Sim, it works with full network sign for about 9 secs and then looses all the sign.
I've tried with the 3 operators sim's that provide service in my country and the result is the same: 8 secs of full sign and then Puffff gone.

Any problem with the trasmiter. When you turn On the phone, this search for signal. Find the signal and transmit the profile from your phone. Is possible this signal transmited can´t arive in the operator and, because of this, the operator don´t send the profile from net, and the phone loos signal.
Is possible your IMEI are blocked in the 3 company? Back of the SPunlock the phone was working?

Yes it was working but I remember that I've tried one program (I dont remember wich) to unlock that dont manage to do the job so I've start playing with the other option.

Is there only MCU, PPM and Eeprom or there are some kind of ROM in these phones? I mean if the MCU who is flashable starts at 20000 what are before that???

Another question ... 20000 is Hexa, right?? So.. if I didnt flash the adresses <20000, why the £§$"$/ the error is at displacement 0, adress 10000 and 0xA00000???

I am thinking this phones have the same way to adress as computer have.

And no, the EMEI his not blocked and its the same typing #*06* and in the box's label.

I readed somewhere in this forum that my software version have some problems after beeing changed (4.50).

I've been very busy this days so I couln't log in. :oops:
My problems remains, no network. Is there any test that can be made to know if there's an harware problem?
I'm not an hardware man so dont tell me to put an osciloscope or something in my phone :D
What I need is an average test like the one I saw somewhere in this forum:
Turn the phone near a computer monitor and if it flickers etc....
(BTW I've tried that with my damage phone and it dont flickered. Next I tried with a working phone and it dont flickered either :-? )
If some1 have more ideas please tell me..... I need all.... :sad:

Yes, I killed check sums thought I did it with "ChkKiller".

Lol, I really dont know what happened.
After I flash the D*** thing another time (I think it was the n^n time) with Knok 2K3, I changed cables, read phone, Updated IMEI (mine of course), MSID, changed to kNok - Engine build 22, reset Splocks, quick set faid....
(i dont have any shure about this sequence of procedures but was something like this)
And I dont know how......... THE PHONE WORKS NOW::::
