Hello to all:

I've recently ordered MBUS / FBUS cables with the intention of unlocking DCT4 phones, and am unsure as to what software can be used for unlocking, flashing as well as mods.

I have Rolis V1.9, but am unsure as to whether or not this will work. I am not sure if this is only intended for DCT3 phones.....

Any help is great.

Thanks for the patience... I'm a newbie to the cable method....

Aren't DCT4 phones unlocked by code rather than cable? Im not 100% sure, but im pretty sure they are. The code gens are free, and there is one on this site I think, the link is at the top somewhere. Hope that helps.

You are correct in that these phones can be remotely unlocked, but only before the five tries are used up. After that, only a cable and software will unlock.

I'm also interested in modding and flashing phones, where cables and software are needed.

modding on DCT 4 is impossible atm...unless some friends of ours will make the impossible become possible.

for flashing/unlocking u can use griffin or simmilar flasher. check sales section for info

Hmmmm, this is useful information to me. I was unaware of this impossibility. Nonetheless, I have oredered the cables and look forward to experimentation. 'Hope not to damage my handsets in the process......

'Nice discount for the cables, BTW.... ;)
