CALENDAR PROBLEM on 5210

Whenever I make some notes(reminder, birthdays, etc) on my calendar and after saving it, instead of the note I keyed in, I will just see small boxes(squares) so that my notes will be unreadable. Is there a way to correct this problem without sending my phone to the service center?

I have exactly the same problem with my 5210 on O2 in the UK

To solve the problem I got me a copy of knok23 and one of those, into the back, under the batttery data cables :) .

Get hold of an IR port and use the nokia-suite to get all your contacts off the phone memory, might as well get the SIM memory ones while you're there. ;)

If you know how to (I don't) back up anything else you want to, then do the following.


use old gui to set phone model to NSM-5 (5210)
fit cable, turn on phone and enter pin so the main screen appears
back in knok, go to the phone settings menu and choose "reset phone"
