fbus/mbus code for nokia netmonitor

Hi ..

I'm trying to develop an application that extracts netmonitor screens in nokia phones. I have to use fbus or mbus commands only. Are there any reference source codes available for the same.
fbus is preferred because of speed. I have to get information simultaneously from different netmonitor screens.

The application is simliar to Nobbi's netmonitor software (www.nobbi.com) and Aschmidt (www.aschmidt.de). I suppose both of them are using fbus commands, but are there any source codes/tutorials available with which I can develop a similar application .

I had a look at the gammu project, but I'm not good in vc++ .. and i couldnt find the fbuc commands for netmonitor info there ..

Can someone suggest me a complete source/tutorial on how to do it ..

I could probably help you out with your project but I'm using Delphi. I know VB programming but most of my components are now in Delphi and I haven't the time to translate them to VB.

Hello ..

I have a registered version of the nobbis netmonitor software.
It displays a special fbus window for the nokia phones, where one can get information
about the neighbouring cells and all ..

I used portmonitor to make a hex dump of the data ..
Here is what I get .. can anyone help me to decode the data ..
I'mw orking on a project that does almost the same thing ..
extracts netmonitor parametres ..

comment :- A string of #55 is sent to initialize the phone i suppose, but look at the

A string of #55 is used to initialize FBUS. You shouldn't expect any response.

comment :- A string of #55 is sent to initialize the phone i suppose, but look at the reply from the phone. It sends the same string back alongwith some other frames..
Can these frames be decoded ??

Let's assume for the meantime that 2A means another FBUS device. Therefore, we are trying to trick the mobile phone (00) that we are another kind of FBUS device (probably a PIC chip or microrpocessor in FBUS mode).

Yeah . .am working on the stuff...
But i need some help.. Is there any source available in vb to send and receive data using fbus . I find lots of mbus stuff, but what abt fbus ..
I'm not very much familiar with the mscomm control . Thats why i need some reference source.
Can anyone tell me how to get started..
