internet on wap

is there anyway you can get onto the internet without using gprs as i want to use opera but can u use wap as thats all i can afford

I was trying the same yesterday, it says in the Opera info that it won't work through GSM WAP :(

I can't get GPRS working on my 6600 O2 PAYG for some reason, MMS works fine, but no program that requires a GPRS connection works :(

With O2, you need to call them up to enable it, like with MMS. If you get MMS activated, you can then use GPRS. Its free, and take about 30 seconds, so its worth doing.
