Hello,
I have been using the 6600 for around 2 weeks now. I have run into 2 major problems:

1) Sometimes the alert for msgs just stops working. I will get no alert, but a little envelope icon comes in the corner when a new msg arrives. I finally found a solution, but it's too hectic. The solution is to turn off the phone, remove the MMC, start it once, turn it off again, and reinsert the MMC, and start it again. Everything works fine after that. But I find it to be a big hassle :-x . Any other solutions anyone has in mind?

2) After 2 weeks, I had over 200 msgs in my inbox, so I decided to move them into a custom folder. out of around 200, 18 couldn't be moved. Now, when i try to open these 18 msgs, nothing happens. Neither can they be deleted. Anyone know the solution to this problem?

Regards....

That happened to me aswell... if you use a file explorer like SelQ or eFileman.. see if you can access those mail folders.. I could not, this meant that i could not delete them manually from the source.

I had to reformat my phone unfortunatly.. But that was the time i received my 128mb card, so i was okay with that.

I'm waiting for my 256 card.. :-P

is ur msg tone stored in ur mmc? if it is, maybe u can try putting the tone in ur fone mem instead.

tzeonn: Well, I'm using the standard message.mid tone, which is in the phone memory.

Nulli: I'm also waiting for my 128 MB MMC to come thru, so I can format the phone. But until that time, I'm learning to live with it :-P
