Look around the thread of 7610, my point of view about Reduce MMC is :
1. The new format of MMC can be much bigger size.
2. The new adaptor in the nexx generation of S60 can handle big drive.
3. Phone will be smaller/or thinner
Is anybody out there have difference thought ? We can share it here....

Well I think that the main drawback it is more expesive, and it will take time for it to catch on.

Another disadvantage is that you can't use this Reduce MMC Card on normal MMC Devices, such as Digital Cameras and PDAs. I rather have a normal MMC card on a 6600, which can also be used on other electronic devices with a MMC slot.
Know what I mean?

There may be an extra adaptor to be used with for other devices, just like Memory Stick Duo does

good point this is why i dislike the Reduced MMC, MMCs are like the sony Memory Sticks, Incrediably verisital, (ok the Memory Sticks Are only for Sony stuff but u see my point) i Use My 256Mb in everythin, (comp, DV cam, DVD Player) ect, Makin somthing where u can only use it in certain things is pretty crap i must say.

But if Nokia create a device that can only use a 'unique' MMC created by Nokia then Nokia will sell more products.
