I have a Nokia 3660, and there are some large files I want to transfer such as MP3's, and other stuff. I have a 128MB MMC, the phones internal memory is about 3MB. When the file is being transfered the phone insists on copying it to the phone memory, which obviously does not fit, and gets an error. Is there any way to make the file ransfer from the PC stright to the MMC?

You could USE and MMC Reader, or perhaps using your computer, connect to your MMC, (i think it's the E:\drive), and using epoc file manager, paste it there...

1) use pc suite to transfer to mmc
2) go to messages, options, settings, other, set mem in use to mmc.

Yeah, use the pc suit, and you can choose where on the mmc you want to send the file to. Also, if you are gonna be transfering a large amount of data, you would be better off with a MMC reader/writer for your pc, else you'll find yourself getting board waiting for it all to transfer. The readers are only about £5 in the UK, so its not a major expense.

Anyone know a cheap place where I can purchase a USB MMC reader in Australia?
