Restarting the phone does not help. I am still unable to delete the .SIS file in my inbox. Can anyone shed some light on this?

try to press on the menu button to see whether the application is running. close that app and then uninstall.

u'll have to delete the file through FExplorer.

Goto /system/mail/1st folder
now there are many sub folders within in this folder... 0-9, a-f or sumthin..
keep lookin inside these and u'll find the file.. delete it..

if that doesnt work... download appman

it lets u close apps (even if they cant be closed) and u can also close open files. so that SHOULD be 100% effective

It's like Windows Explorer, except for a Symbian Operating System!

And yea, sometimes I get those probs as well. Just do what everyone else have said ... otherwise I'm repeating ...
