Is it possible to change the IMEI by use of your phone alone? That is, without the need for data cables. If so, how?

Also, I have tryed to change my IMEI on my 3310 though use of the data cable, but I can not find any programs that work. The one by Rolis does not seem work on Win. 2000 where as the other ones work only for older Nokias. Can anyone help?

P.S.

I forgot to mention that after installing USERPORT, when I attempt to use the Nokiatools 1.9 by Rolis an error comes up stating that the particular port is busy. Anyone know what's going on?

No, It is not possible to change the IMEI without data cable.

and to change the IMEI is not Legal in many countries but to fix any problem or for educational purposes u can Test the process.

This can be done using Nokia tool by Jordik (the best one userport not required) and a Mbus Cable.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have downloaded Jordik's program, but when I attempt to read my 3310 the following error comes up: "Run-time error '8021': The device is not open." Could you help?

Thank you,
Sugejn

P.S.

Although I wasn't aware of the legal issues, this is nontheless intended strictly for educational purposes only.
