Hello Everybody,

I would appriciate if you read the thread and open the picture i uploaded.

This happened after I installed the Handy Dates software of Epocware.

As you can see from the picture, I cant get a dialog box when I try to add a birthday detail. I dont remember if it was like this when I bought the telephone.

I took to a couple of official service centers, and asked them to flash the phone again. but they told me that they werent flashing 6600 since there is no newer firmware avaible. and added that they were formating the phone instead.

I can format the phone too (both hard and soft format) but it didnt solve the problem.

Too bad that those guys think that formatting and flashing a phone is the same thing. Plus they are official dealers.

As i told you before, I would be grateful if you write what you think or experienced.

Thanks.

That happens to me too. but just type in the birthday as if it looks normal ... and it will be listed ok again.

its only distorted when you are typing in a birthday date

Are you using Smart Birthday or Handy Dates? Nokia 6600?

yes, I have installed Handy Dates once. And as I wrote it above, I did format the phone but it didnt get fixed.

I wonder How it could possible make such a change on the phone' s software, That couldnt be fixed.

I emailed the Handy Dates' company, but they didnt answer back.

I know it is not a major bug but it needs to be fixed. Otherwise I will throw this phone off the window.

Its a known bug in the 6600 firmware. I hope it will correct in the next version .
