Try changing the battery

If that doesn't work, you might want to format it with Green * 3

Plan A: Do you have another MMC Device? Like a MMC Card Reader/Writer or a Digital Camera that uses the MMC? If so, format the MMC on that external device. Then insert it into your phone again. See if it works, if it doesn't ... then go to Plan B

Plan B: Format your phone (NOTE: YOu will lose all data when formatting)
Hold Green * 3 while your phone is booting up (if it doesn't boot up, go to Plan C) hold until you see the word "Formatting" and wait for the screen to be filled with the colour black. The phone should restart by itself. See if that works, it should ask for time and date if it works

Plan C: Go to your Nokia Care Centre, and tell them to re-flash. You might get a new firmware version. Sorry, but Plan C is the only way if Plan A and B doesn't work!

I'd say that Plan C is the only way to go. Unfortunately.

Don't you hate Plan C ...

Yep, especially when it takes several weeks for them to get your phone back to you.

Yea, but it took 3 hours to get a firmware upgrade. And that was when I went to the Nokia Care Centre in Brisbane in person ...

Oh I see. I had to send my phone down to the Sydney region to get it fixed.

Do you live in Sydney? And when you said "sent" to Nokia Care Centre, did you actually post it via AustraliaPost? :-?

Yeah, it had to be shipped down there. I live in the Newcastle area by the way.

That explains everything. But Newcastle is considered a considerable sized city. Sending to Sydney and waiting 7 months. Argh! I can't stand it

Thank god I live in the city, and Nokia Care Centre is downtown ... but I try to avoid it

The closest Nokia Care to me is Parramata, I think... Which is a fair distance away.
