cable unlock a55

hi i have a new a55, which i want to unlock as its on orange and i like o2. i have a cable and all siemans and freil but how do i unlock it? they both have so many settings that i'm a bit worried i will damage it. i did try but all i got was phone not on but it was. thanks for any help. i never had this problem with 2 tin cans a some string!

1) phone Off
2) load Freia (choose your model "A55")
3) Connect it
4) Read Firmware
a) Start
b) Press on/off button per 0.5 sek (Don't swich on your one really)
c) Soft w'll write "OK!"
5) Read EEPROM1 (from a) to c) do )
6) Button "Unlocking"
7) Dirrect u... Also saves...
8) Use ORIGINAL IMEI (from a) to c) do )

i unlocked my a55 and it worked but then i altered the flash after, and my phone ain't working now if you press the on/off button it buzzes for 2secs then stop

That have u meen "but then i altered the flash". Do u try to unlock it?
Or what have u done with that one?

Try to write it's OWN IMEI maybe it's damaged/

hi i use freia well every software i use says the same thing this:

COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 8
TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening COM4
TTY_OpenCOMPort : baudrate is 115200, DTR is enabled, RTS is enabled
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is not powered on
TTY_CloseCOMPort : Closing COM4



i have tried every thing changing the boot type e.t.c

Hi,I have same problem with freia and the other A50/A55 proggies.It keeps saying bootcore dose not seem to be running,closing com1.What is going on with these proggies.I have also tried everything that i know.Glad to see that iam not the only one this is happing too.There MUST be someone out there who can help.

sure you ain't got it on the wrong com port mate

1)i connect phone to pc using usb cable that works for c55

2)turn off phone

3)put freia v9 on
4)make sure right com port is in use
5)press unlock using orignal imei number
6)unlocks and works with my new sim

7)but then i try to flash it using c55 flash file
8)thats how it stopped working

9)now if i press the on/off button it buzzes but nothing else happens not even a light

Com port,and i have tested it on a friends computer and the cable works fine.

Its.... raver BAD
This phones from begining (birth) with NEW type of BOOTcore ;)
and feria (8,9... no longer) can't eat its.
And there is no such test point like in old х55, here is it's like in M55
(small ball under processor).

what i now did was rang siemens on "08705334411" and said that my a55 won't turn on and they sent me a jiffy bag so they can fix it for me for free cause it is under warrenty still.
i will tell you what they did when it comes back to me

Hum..tuff problem..U use chineese cable I guess...try to flash it with good working vertion..not low that the one Ur phone was..

Try changing the config... Maybe DTR and RTS are enabled. Try leavin´ just one of them. It worked for me.

or upload the attached testpoint file.
for A50 you need to first ground the testpoint then unlock using Freia.
for A55 you need to first cut the testpoint then unlock using Freia.

Has anyone got a link to download the unlock software? and can i unlock the A55 with the com cable that i used to flash the C35i with?. How about a full How-To and software zip file?.
