wont turn on,battery works but i dont know much bout phones so any suggestions with what is wrong with it is helpful

I have heard about this problem before and the way to fix it is to take out the memory battery for a while and then put it back in again.Havent tried it myself but have dismantled gx10 and advise that you note carefully where all the pieces go!!
