Eti Camcorder With Sound On 6600 Its True

I recently upgraded to firmware version 4.09.1 http://nokiafree.org/forums/t60078/h/s.html on my Nokia 6600 and the eti camcorder now works unlimited video with sound!!!! i recoreded 1.5mb for starters to check and its working with SOUND!!!!!

Damn ... how can it work with a newer version of the firmware, and not the old one? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

it was about 2 and a half minutes ruffly,i put a 10000kb limit on it but theres no need to since ive got a 512mb mmc in my 6600!!!!! and no it doesnt work the other way around,we supposingly upgrade for a better phone,right?so far so good,yippeeeeeee we broke the limits,thanks to ETI

I really want this firmware upgrade now. Mainly because I'm tired of writing a SMS and the To: section is always Alpha, not Numeral. Damnit

I had my 3650 firmware upgraded for no reason, apart from thinking if the version on my phone was 100% perfect, there would be no update, would there? I can't see much new stuff, but I'm sure some good has been done. Longer battery life praps, more efficient maybe... Anyway, Nokia do it for free, and I didn't sign anything saying that if they cocked it up, I would be responcible or I would have to pay for repairs, so if they had screwed my phone, I could have asked them to replace it or fix it. Its worth going for it if you can.

hey ppl i am plannin to upgrade my firmware now since i am on the first one. so 1 ? i have is that if i back up my phone and then get FW upgraded and then when i restore the whole thing will i still have my sms the way they were sorted out or will they be deleted. please reply on this. i hope u ppl get wht i am trying to say.

I don't want to get a firmware upgrade, because the Nokia CC is in the centre CBD. There is only one Care Centre in nearly each large Australian city except Darwin and Canberra. Brisbane, I have to travel there. But seeing that im a teen and driving cars isnt a thing yet ... public transport or a taxi

But that'll cost money! So I think i'll wait for a big advance in firmware development

I read in another forum that this ETIcamcorder v3 is a fake.

If you install then it will create the "App Childinstaller closed" problem in your phone. It may even screw up your phone.

So proceed with caution.

i suggest you NEVER unistall it ( and dont ask why )
if you do and afterward you have problems with your mobile,
do a hard reset and if the problem doesnt solved go to your Nokia club

phillips camcorder is NOT working on the upgraded 6600,sorry!!!! i repeat all psiloc app must be installed with an earlier date than 25 march 2004 on your upgraded 6600 for them to work (DO NOT INSTALL THE NEWEST VERSIONS)they ALL work on my 6600 and registered

Plus... im sure it'll void my warrantee if i mess with the firmware, rite?

Cheers.its not neccessary to reinstall the apps i have a 512mb mmc which i bought 2 days before the upgrade so i did everything from scratch (200+ apps) ,the eti with sound is the best feature so far,my bloody agile messenger isnt working now :-x

Now we have the first unlimited video recording for nokia 6600! The problem is when we record,the sound (ear)and the video(eye) is separated store in the phone.
How r we going to combine the 2 file together and and convert by the eyecon converter to one avi file and view as one in the pc?

What about the guys who had 3.42.1? Why can't Psiloc create something called "Psiloc Extended Video Recorder"? After all, they created "Psiloc Extended Recorder" for audio ...

doesnt this eti thing fck the 6600 right up!

i downloaded a file "eticamcorder6600fix.zip" or sumtin from sumones group then i extracted the sis file.

i was about to install it when i thought fuck it, i used unmakesis (real handy tool by the wayz) and the files it contained would have fucked my 6600 right up !

If had installed it it would have restored my phone settings. it had a back up.arc file in it.

Yea, that ETI Camcorder 3 contains shitloads of files that will be stored into Libs. Dunno how it can work with 4.09.1 ... but hey, I can't call them a liar until I have proof
