I just got a bluetooth dongle wit a specified range of 25m but i heard that 6600 has a range of 10m only, so does that mean ill be getting an effective bluetooth range of only 10m?? or is it like 25m of the dongle + 10m of the phone, if u get wat m tryn to say :-s cuz i was plannin to buy this 200m dongle, but am not sure if it will actually give me the xtra range.
Also i want to know if its possible to use (share) my dialup internet conenction. i mean i want to be able to access the net on my phone by sharing the dialup connection of my pc. is that possible? if yes how. oh no gprs btw! cuz i tried searching but all the threads i found needed gprs some way or the other, n i dont have gprs access.

OMG!
***scratches head*** ***pinking away little tear***
here we go, pfffff
Is it really that hard to understand??
K let me explain, if u had a stick with a lenght of 10 meter and swing it around, ur mate is very strong and swings a whopping 200 m stick, now he can hit u with ease and u only RECIEVE the painfull blows!!!
And no u can't send 200 M cos u need a return from ur Nokia to have the file sent.
And the lenght depends on the obstacles in the range, clear field u should het about 12 M while in a concrete house u get about 4-5M
Hope that clears thing up for you...

Right on ... I say, what if we just made a Thread called "Common FAQ's" and we list all the common questions that people ask and answers in it.
Then people can just go to Common FAQ's ...
But I guess people won't bother and still ask, just like those who don't use the freakin' SEARCH button ...
