can anyone explain me how to make java games or appz and what language should be used? and how to compile it?

java app for wat fones? series 40, 30 or 60?

i tink u need vb, and some addons, im not sure thou.

u can ask ard in symbian section.

well, i tink vb c shld do the trick, u need to check out wat addons to get, depending on the type of game u want, coz diff fone models, use diff types of prog to write.

well, im not sure bout other fones, but u can try askin , in the section of the fone u wanna haf a go at, for example, ask bout making a nokia series 40 game in the series 40 section.

im guessing for java apps you program in java script??? then compile with the nokia SDK found on www.nokia.com??? just guesses

take a look on the java website www.sun.com look for j2me you write the source code in a text editor then use dos to compile it.(javac).

How do your program in symbian? Can you use vb?

c++ is the native language of symbian you can also use mobilevb by appforge.

you can write in vb but you need the mobilevb pluggin and i think that it has to be version 4.0 not anything earlier.

not as far as i know take a look on symbians web site the developers section there you can download the sdk`s www.symbian.com

well im back in this thread. i want to make a symbian program.

what languages can i make?

Java using Sun SDK?
C++ using ??????????
VB using MobileVB

did anyone make any symbian application already?
