Hey every1!

I have 6600 and when i receive messages on it, while in silent mode, the vibration doesn't work, i checked in profiles and the vibration is set to on. If i switch on another profile the vibration works but wif a sound signal. Is it the same for every1 or it's smthin wrong wif my phone?

thnx in advance

thats right tzeon, if you record a quick silent sound then set that as your message tone it should vibrate. think its a problem with everyones 6600???

No need to record. Just select any ringtone other than "none". As long a ring type is set to silent, no sound will be heard but it will vibrate.

It's easier if you record. Go to a quiet room, and record for 2 seconds of *nothing*. Rename it as "Blank.amr* and set it as your Message tone with Vibration turned on!

It's another alternative method ...

but remember that the vibration will only last for as long as the ringtone is, so it will cut after 2 sec. i made a silent midi (to make it smaller) which lasted longer
