Screwy 6600 Dictionary

Been enjoying my 6600 for a long time now with no problems at all... until recently. I use the predictive text input when writing sms messages, of course the dictionary is supposed to remember new words that I have saved previously. Seems like I have to re-enter a word every few days or so... So I figure the dictionary isn't remembering the words that I am saving.

What gives?

Any help or suggestion would be most welcome.

Press the * key to cycle through all possible matches in case its still there, but further down in the list.

i think the phone only gives you so much space for new words. so when you enter a new word and the memory for new words are all used up, the oldest word is entered is erased. i try not entering new words if i can avoid it, your most common words that i use don't end up dissapearing.
