Hi guys

i was tinking of having a thread in faq to show wat apps/games works, wat not. pls gif me some apps/games that wun work well for u here, i will make a list and update frequently in the faqs section.

i will start 1st:

wildskinz : highly not recommended, if not used or unstalled properly, causes fone errors like unable to type in letters, only in numbers, haf to format fone to solve tis prob.

dictaphone version 1.00 : doesnt work on my 3650; i had to format the fone coz i installed it. but dictaphone 1.01 works fine.

Pro rally contest : deletes to do and calander list, unless u dun haf anything in to do or calender, its better u dun install tis game.

ps. i will make the new thread wif all the problematic apps/games if i got enough listed here. so pls contribute peeps! :-P

I couldn't get that snails game to work, maybe it's not compatible with my N-Gage.

* Known problem with multiple versions of Psiloc software if not latest (e.g. EProfiles Pro will nuke the Psiloc Screen Saver if you customize it). Also, EProfiles expire even though it's registered.

* Psiloc System Tools 1.40 only works ONCE. Install, it says reboot the phone. I do, it starts, works. Reboot again and you get a "System error", with no additional explanation. Does not seem to affect anything else.


1.5 works just fine.


* Smart Profiles are unstable. While playing games it replaces game tones with ringtones so you randomly get weird sounds. It randomly does that while browsing the menu. After uninstall and reboot phone, switching profiles still works (i mean the enhancements). You need to kill the task (need task manager) then remove the dll and ini files manually (need file manager). Bad. Also, randomly fails to replace customized ringtone for calendar (0.5 secs of new ringtone, than default)

Lol, i know it might sound really small and useless, but Palete Extender won't work on all previous versions of 7650's firmare, 4.16 and below i think.

I happened to return on my post on bad application (above) and, to my surprise, I happen to find this comment:

"please change ur Avatar, ur useing the same as a Moderator"

in addition to a sudden drop in reputation.

I sincerely hope that direct taxation through anonymous comments and bad rating is going to be gradually replaced by the used of signed, grammatically correct,private message, as a sign of evolution.

Since this does not qualify as impersonating (there is nothing in common between names, also the avatar is an official sign used by 24 million people), I fail to see how this can trick anyone that can read, instead of finding their way by picture association.

I am deeply annoyed by this, not because of the new rating, but because of the fact that people do not feel protected enough by thousands of kilometers and aliases, they need to leave anonymous messages.

I will change my avatar when and if Alinus (or another moderator) will send me a message saying he wishes me to.

i pressed every button on the phone except the menu button and they did nothing. spent about 10 mins tryin to figure it out
